ABOUT ME
My Journey
Ever since I studied Latin in high school I have known that I wanted to be a professional translator. Consequently, my choice of university and study domain was easily made and in 2014 I started my Bachelor in Applied Linguistics (Dutch, English and Italian). After three years my passion for translation grew even more, so I went on to do the Master in Translation (English and Italian) and the Postgraduate Programme in Specialised Translation at KU Leuven University. This education set me up perfectly for a career as a freelance translator.
In August 2019 I took a leap of faith and started my own business, AH Translations. Since then I have completed various projects in different domains, such as Marketing, HR, Automotive, User Manuals, Technology, Journalism, Children's Literature, etc. There is a lot of variation in my work, and that is what makes it so interesting:

Documents that please the eye
Reformatting a (translated) document can be tedious work, but I am happy to help with creating documents that please the eye. Please send me your corporate identity in another Word document, and I will do the rest. For now, this service is only available for Word documents in English, French, Italian and Dutch.
